(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) are currently on the scene of a motor vehicle collision on the 12th Side Road near Grey Road 19 in The Blue Mountains.
The collision scene, involving a single motor vehicle, was discovered by an officer on patrols at approximately 2:00am this morning. The female driver was transported to an area hospital however died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Presently, the OPP have the 12th Side Road closed for investigative purposes.
