(SUDBURY, ON) – On May 30, 2016 at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision on Nelson Road in Estaire. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Estaire Fire Department also attended.
Investigation has revealed that a pick-up truck left the roadway and struck a rock cut. The driver of the pickup truck, Dennis RIENGUETTE, 52 years of age, from Estaire, died as a result of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI).
