(Drummond North Elmsley Township, ON) – Officers form the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a collision on County Road 43 (Hwy 43) in Drummond North Elmsley Township, that resulted in the death of two people.
Hwy 43 remains closed between Frizell Road and Churchill Road south of the Town of Perth and north of the Hamlet of Port Elmsley. The road closures and any diversions will be in place until at least 6pm Sunday 15th June 2015.
Port Elmsley Road between Rideau Ferry Road and Hwy 43 remains open as a diversion for traffic between the Town of Perth and Town of Smiths falls.
The investigation is active and continuous.
