(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police(OPP), Haldimand County detachment is investigating a fail to remain collision at Townline Road and Hwy #56, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday February 16th, 2014 at approximately 12:15 pm a white 2002 Pontiac 4 door Grand Prix car was northbound on Hwy #56 when it attempted to turn left onto Townline Road. During the turn a light coloured pickup truck that had been following travelled to the right of the Pontiac car and struck in on the passenger side causing extensive damage. The pickup truck then fled the scene travelling eastbound on Townline Road.
The driver of the Pontiac car a 69 year old male and his 66 year old female passenger both of Haldimand County, ON were not injured in the collision.
The investigation is continuing.
