Esteban SERNA-MOLL – Race Motor Vehicle

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 14, 2015, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP West Region Highway Safety Division (HSD) were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 401.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., a motorist was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle, a silver Subaru car, was measured to be travelling at more than 50 km per hour over the posted speed limit.

The 21-year-old male driver, Esteban SERNA-MOLL, from Mississauga, Ontario, has been charged with race a motor vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). The vehicle he was operating was impounded, and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days under the stunt driving legislation.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the London courts to answer to the charge on October 26, 2015.
