Eric FORTIN – Drunk Driving

(SUDBURY, ON) – At 6:24 a.m., on January 19, 2016, members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, near the intersection of Regional Road 55, in the City of Greater Sudbury.

Investigation revealed a white pickup truck left the roadway and entered the ditch on the eastbound off-ramp.

As a result of the investigation, Eric FORTIN, 43 years of age, from Chelmsford, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

Adult driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol), contrary to the Criminal Code.

Adult care or control over 80 milligrams, contrary to the Criminal Code.

Members of the Sudbury OPP continue to investigate the collision.
