Life on the Occupied Square Mile (Wingham) can be challenging, but when compiled with the utter incompetence of the Wingham police it can be very costly, or even deadly. If you even dare question the Wingham police budget or attend a police board meeting and ask a question, you will likely be put on their blacklist. This has resulted in the Wingham Police intentionally withholding critical information such as flood alerts, evacuation alerts and even property damage notification from specific law abiding citizens. This is done out of spite/retaliation and clearly meets the definition of dereliction of duty.
This selective service has cost victims of the Wingham Police thousands of dollars, damaged reputations, put lives and property at risk, and is a clear violation of their police oathe.
Due to the level of corruption and extreme cost, Winghamites should do whatever is necessary to ensure that the Wingham police are disbanded. In the past we would say they just need to switch shoulder patches to the OPP, but due to the level of complaints we have heard about the Wingham police in the last year it is very doubtful all 7 would pass their screening process.
