(TECUMSEH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call on Friday, September 20, 2013 at approximately 11:15 pm regarding a possible impaired driver.
The suspect vehicle, a grey Honda Civic, had been observed by another motorist, to be driving erratically and swerving back and forth while travelling on Highway 3 near Manning Road in Tecumseh.
Officers observed the vehicle and subsequently stopped it on Highway 3 at Ellis Sideroad in Essex.
The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
Emily HOY, age 19, of Windsor, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content. She will appear in a Windsor court on September 25, 2013.
