(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a female motorist as a result of a vehicle stop on Mountain Road.
On the 7th of September 2014 at approximately 3:30am an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Mountain Road in Collingwood to check on the sobriety of the driver. Interactions with the female motorist revealed that she was under the influence of alcohol which led to the officer arresting the driver and transporting her to the Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 32 year-old Elizabeth INNES of Marham, she is charged with driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood. She is to appear in Collingwood court on the 23rd of September 2014.
