(ESSEX, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that left the scene of a crash last evening.
The OPP, Essex County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Essex Fire and Rescue, responded to the crash on Essex County Road 20 just west of Fox Road in Harrow at approximately 9:45 p.m. on October 10, 2014.
A black e-bike was travelling eastbound on Essex County Road 20 when it was struck from behind by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle did not stop and continued eastbound towards Harrow.
The suspect vehicle is described as a full size sedan, light in colour (possibly gold or beige) and appeared to be newer with a square back end. It is highly likely that the suspect vehicle sustained front end damage as a result of the crash.
The driver of the e-bike was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
