(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 51-year-old male after police investigated a motor vehicle collision at an Old Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, December 12, 2015 at approximately 3:57 a.m., police were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision.
Through investigation it was determined that a motor vehicle was travelling southbound on Old Highway 24 when the vehicle left the roadway striking a tree and then collided with a parked vehicle that was located in the driveway of a residence.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 51-year-old Jose L HERNANDEZ of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
