(NICHOL TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 19, 2014 at approximately 9:04 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles on Wellington Road 7, south of 2nd Line, in Nichol Township.
Officers located and spoke with the driver of a grey 2015 Buick VEC and found her to be exhibiting signs of alcohol use. She was administered the roadside screening device which resulted in a fail and was then transported to a local detachment for further testing.
A 52 year old, of Nanaimo, B.C. has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 23, 2014 to answer to the charge.
