(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Saturday the 8th of August, 2015 at 5:30 PM Quinte West OPP officers received a report of a collision involving a dirt bike behind the Water Treatment plant in Trenton located at 20 Chester Road.
Quinte West Fire Department and EMS attended with officers and located a male driver and female passenger with injuries. The dirt bike had struck a tree branch after travelling at a high rate of speed.
Both the male and female were transported to Trenton Memorial hospital.
Investigation revealed the male driver was impaired by alcohol at the time of the collision. Dustin KINMOND (22) is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Dangerous Driving, and Over 80 mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
The male is expected to appear in court on the 27th of August, 2015.
