(DESERONTO, ON) In the late night hours of Thursday February 9th into the early morning hours of Friday February 10th, 2017 officers with the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau OPP, the Drug Enforcement Unit OPP, the Emergency Response Team OPP and Belleville City Police executed search warrants and conducted traffic stops on Highway 401 and in the Town of Greater Napanee.
Five people were arrested, two firearms were seized, 100 Oxycodone pills and 356 Hydromorphone pills worth approximately $9,000 and in excess of $5000 in cash.
Charged are;
Robert HUSSEY a 64 year old Deseronto man with; Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Careless Storage of a Firearm. The accused was held for Bail Court in Napanee.
Karen HUSSEY a 57 year old female and Ronald HUSSEY a 41 year old male both from Deseronto with; Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Careless Storage of a Firearm. The accused were released on a Promise to Appear with a first appearance date of March 7th, 2017 in Napanee Criminal Court.
Also charged are;
Trevor HAIGH 49 year old male from Kingston with; Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance, Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule II Substance and being in Possession of the Proceeds of Crime. The accused was held for Bail Court in Napanee.

Amanda WALSH a 37 year old female from Kingston with; Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Schedule II Substance. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a first appearance date of March 7th, 2017 in Napanee Criminal Court.
