(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 14, 2014 at approximately 10:13 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling the Town of Fergus. Police observed a 2000 Chevrolet that was involved in a traffic violation at St. Andrew Street East and Scotland Street, Fergus. A traffic stop was initiated and during the investigation, suspected marijuana was located. The male driver was arrested and it was also discovered that a probation order was not being followed.
Naymatullah SAYFI age 19 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Breach of Probation contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 28, 2014 to answer to the charges.
