(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – West Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Oxford County OPP and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, conducted a search warrant at a residence on Broadway Street on July 4, 2014 in the Town of Tillsonburg.
The warrant led to the seizure of 62 grams of suspected Cannabis Marihuana Bud, and 24 suspected Cannabis Marihuana Plants.
OPP arrested and charged two people as a result of this investigation.
Charged with the following is, 58 year old Douglas YOUNG and 55 year old Wanda YOUNG, both of Tillsonburg:
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana
Produce a Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana
Both were release on a Promise to Appear and an Officer in Charge Undertaking with a future court date in Woodstock.
