(Quinte West, ON) – On Friday, September 26, 2014 members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) with assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Canine Unit and members of the Belleville Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) Search Warrant at a residence on O’Neil Cr., Trenton, ON.
Thirty-seven (37) year-old Michelle WILLIAMS and 34-year-old Brad ROMANKO, both of Trenton and Janette WELLER of Whitby were arrested and charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in cocaine,
Possession of cocaine and
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Police seized approximately $9000 in drugs, digital scales, cell phones, and Canadian currency.
All were released from custody on a Promise to Appear and Officer-in-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Bellville in November 2014.
The Investigation is continuing.
