(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On January 14, 2014 at approximately 12:50 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers investigated the driver of a 2008 Dodge Caravan that was driving aggressively on Highway 6 near Willow Road in the City of Guelph.
As police were speaking with the male driver a strong odour of marihuana was detected coming from the inside of the vehicle. During the investigation officers seized a clear plastic baggy containing marihuana.
Herbert McRae aged 39 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on February 21, 2014 to answer to the charge.
