Drug Bust On Hwy 21 – SNYDER & RITCHIE

(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) – On Wednesday, January 11, 2017, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Highway 21, Saugeen First Nations.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant and investigation police seized cocaine, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. Police also seized offence related property that consisted of $1,205.00 cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia. The combined estimated value of the seized controlled substances was $1,250.00.

Spencer RITCHIE (38 years) of Saugeen First Nation is charged with 3 counts of trafficking cannabis marihuana, trafficking cannabis resin, possession of cannabis resin for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine and possession of marihuana.

Kimberly SNYDER (37 years) is charged with possession of cannabis resin for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine, and possession of marihuana.

Both were released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking.
