Driver With Licence Suspended 21 Times Caught Again

On November 13, 2016, at around noon, Waterloo Regional Police officers stopped a vehicle on Queen Street, just outside of New Dundee, for travelling 29 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit. Further investigation revealed that the male driver had not had a licence since 1977 and is currently under four separate suspensions. He has had his licence suspended 21 separate times. A 60-year-old Wilmot Township man has been charged with speeding, driving while under suspension, careless driving and not having insurance. His vehicle was seized for 7 days.
