(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On April 15, 2014, just before 7:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving a single motor vehicle on Highway 401 near Drake Road.
The collision occurred when a Honda car traveling eastbound on Highway 401, struck a guard rail, entered the centre median, then traveled across the westbound lanes before it came to rest on the north shoulder of the westbound lanes.
The male driver, 44 year old Sohel NIZAMI, from Jersey City, New Jersey, has been charged with Fail To Drive In Marked Lane, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were reported.
