Driver and Passengers Charged

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged several individuals with criminal offences after police stopped a vehicle at an Alice Street, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, April 4, 2015, at approximately 9:11 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Alice Street when a vehicle caught the attention of the patrolling officer. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated at an Alice Street and James Street South address.

As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged the driver and 4 passengers located in the vehicle.

Charged with the following offences is 38 year old Jason Thomas IMMEL of Brantford, Ontario.

Drive while under suspension

Possession of break in instruments

Fail to comply with probation order X2

Charged with the following offences is 20 year old Chelsi SHEPHERDSON of Brantford, Ontario.

Obstruct peace officer

Possession of break in instruments

Fail to comply with recognizance X 3

Charged with possession of break in instruments is 21 year old Derrick John CARVALHO of Norfolk County, Ontario.

Charged with possession of break in instruments is 33 year old Melissa Trudy MILLER of the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, Ontario.

Charged with possession of break in instruments is 45 year old Douglas James HILL of the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, Ontario.

All are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
