(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a RIDE check at the Cockshutt Road and Oxbow Road, in the County of Brant.
At approximately 1:22 a.m. August 8th, 2014, officers stopped a 1996 Buick and while an officer was talking to the male driver he observed all the usual signs of impairment by alcohol. The male driver was taken to the County of Brant OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.
William SWANSON 33 years of age from the City of Brantford is facing the following criminal charges
Drive over 80 milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content
Impaired Driving
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
The accused is currently being held in custody.
