(Marmora, ON) – On March 7, 2014 at 7:50 a.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P received a complaint of a domestic incident that occurred on Beaver Creek Road in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. The investigation revealed that a female had been repeatedly assaulted by her common law spouse when he pinned her against the wall and struck her in the head.
As a result the 29 year old man of Marmora, ON was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville.
