(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Arkona and Thedford Fire Services responded to a collision on September 22, 2014 just before 4:00 p.m.
An escorted transport truck with an over-sized load made contact with a parked and unattended pumper truck at Northville Road and Cedar Point Line. There were no injuries during the collision however the fuel tank of the parked truck was ruptured and there was a loss of an amount of diesel fuel.
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) was notified as a result of the fuel spill and the OPP investigation continues into the collision.
