Deanna MCLEOD – Impaired Driving

(EAR FALLS, ON) – Officers of the Ear Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an adult female driver with impaired driving.

On October 31, 2015 at 5:04 p.m. Ear Falls OPP received a complaint of an impaired driver in Ear Falls. Officers located the suspect vehicle and driver. Following an investigation, officers determined the female driver was impaired.

Deanna MCLEOD, age 34, of Ear Falls, Ontario, is charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code .

MCLEOD was released on a Promise to Appear in Red Lake Court on the 10th of December, 2015. The vehicle was impounded for a minimum of 7 days and she was issued a mandatory drivers licence suspension.

The OPP reminds motorists that operating a vehicle under the influence of any amount of alcohol is dangerous and jeopardizes your own safety as well as the safety of others. If you are planning to consume alcohol then plan to have a sober person drive you home. The public may report an impaired driver by calling 911 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
