(Douro Dummer Township, ON) – On Saturday March 3, at approximately 4:50 p.m. members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a Break and Enter that occurred at a Plati Avenue residence.
The home owner had left their residence between the hours of 12:30 and 4:30 p.mp. During this time an unknown suspect had forced entry to their home through a secure door. Inside the interior had be ransacked before the suspect fled the scene.
It is uncertain as to what property was stolen.
Members of the OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the Regional Property Crime Unit were called in to assist in the investigation.
