David DOUGLAS: Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – A male driver has been charged by police and his vehicle has been impounded for driving with too much alcohol in his system.

On December 4, 2014 at approximately 11:15 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Glendon Drive in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. When police interacted with the driver, it was apparent the driver had been drinking. The driver was administered a roadside breath test and he failed. Police arrested the driver and transported him to the police detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged 60 year old David DOUGLAS of London, Ontario with Driving With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol under the Criminal Code of Canada. He was later released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a London courtroom January 13, 2015 to speak to the charge.
