(KENORA, ON) On Saturday December 27, 2014 shortly after 5:00pm, members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver in Keewatin.
The police located the suspect vehicle in Keewatin and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol. The male was arrested and transported to detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation, 50 year old Darren HENRY of Brandon Manitoba has been charged with Section 253(1)(a) Care or Control While Impaired by Alcohol and Section 253(1)(b) Care or Control over 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Kenora Court on February 5, 2015 to answer to the charges.
