(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On December 4, 2014 at approximately 7:56 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program at Wellington Road 124 and Sixth Line, Town of Erin. A male driving a 2011 Toyota was spoken with and suspected marijuana was located. An arrest was made and approximately 244 grams was seized. He was released with court documents at the scene.
Daniel Warnica age 20 of Essa Township has been charged with Possession of Marijuana For the Purpose of Trafficking-Under 3kg contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 23, 2015.
