(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducting general patrol on Muskoka Road North in Gravenhurst in the early morning hours of Sunday June 12, 2016 located an impaired driver attempting to leave a local gathering place.
Police noticed the vehicle just before 2:30 a.m. and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of their investigation, police have charged 39 year-old Dana STOIK of Toronto with Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Her Blood CC 253(1)(b). The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 12, 2016 to answer to her charge.
The accused received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had her vehicle towed and impounded.
