(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On May 7th, 2015, at approximately 8:15pm Quinte West OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Old Highway 2 near Montrose Rd.
When officers arrived on scene it was learned that a 60 year old female cyclist had been struck by an east bound motor vehicle. The cyclist was transported to hospital by ambulance with life threatening injuries. The 78 year old female driver of the vehicle was also transported to hospital.
The investigation is on-going and charges are pending.
