(BANCROFT, ON) – During the late morning on the 19th of July 2016, officers with the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision, on Highway 28 East in Carlow-Mayo Township.
Once there, officers determined that a commercial motor vehicle had lost two (2) wheels, including tires and rims. The wheels broke away from the vehicle and entered the ditch. The driver and passenger were not injured as a result of the collision.
Terrance MARTIN of Ottawa Ontario, is charged with driving a commercial motor vehicle with a major defect, and failing to maintain a daily log contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
