(LAKESHORE, ON)— The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently at the scene of a three vehicle collision that occurred just after 1:00 p.m. on the Naylor Side Road (Essex County Road 23) at the intersection of South Middle Road in Lakeshore.
Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Lakeshore Fire Department along with OPP responded to the crash involving a white Mercedes, a dump truck and a flatbed tow-truck-like vehicle.
The drivers of the Mercedes and dump truck were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are currently on scene to investigate.
Naylor Side Road remains closed between Essex County Road 46 and just south of South Middle Road until the investigation has been completed.
