Collision Sends Infant And Others To Hospital

(PETROLIA, ON) – On Thursday November 26th, 2015 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision in the area of Plank Road and Telfer Road, St. Clair Township.

Lambton County OPP along with Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended the scene and upon arrival observed a small sport utility vehicle (SUV) rolled onto its roof on the southwest gravel shoulder and a minivan stopped on the north side of Plank Road.

EMS treated and transported three involved parties, including an infant, to Bluewater Health with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigating determined that the operator of the minivan did not stop at the intersection and collided with the SUV.

As a result, 46 year-old Frank VENTURA of Sarnia, Ontario was issued a Provincial Offences Notice and charged with
