Collision – One Extricated Then Airlifted To Hospital

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On March 1, 2018 at 11:48 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash along North line in Kincardine Township. Officers arrived with members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce County Ambulance to find a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest in the south ditch.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle by fire fighters and taken to a local hospital for assessment of injuries. They have since been airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

A child passenger was transported to a local hospital for assessment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is in its early stages.
