(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On October 8, 2016 at approximately 9:14 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 10 south of Markdale in the Municipality of Grey Highlands in which the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol.
Police arrived and observed a damaged 2007 Ford FMS vehicle after it left the road and crashed into the ditch on the west side of the highway. The lone driver was treated at hospital for minor injuries and released.
29-year old Michael HACKETT-PEDLER, of Toronto, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 mg.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on October 27, 2016.
