(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision that occurred at approximately 9:10 a.m. today on Lisgar Avenue in the vicinity of Fourth Street, Tillsonburg.
The collision involved an Emterra Environmental recycling truck and a moped.
There is a male deceased party as a result of the collision.
OPP members, Tillsonburg Fire department, Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) all responded to assist with the scene.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are attending the scene to continue with the investigation.
The Ministry of Labour has been contacted.
Lisgar Avenue will remain closed between Van Norman Avenue and Third Street to continue with the investigation.
