(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 49 year old male after police investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Queen Street, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, September 19, 2015 at approximately 6:30 p.m., police were called to investigate a single motor vehicle collision at the Delhi Public School.
Through investigation it was determined that a motor vehicle was travelling northbound on Queen Street when it lost control, mounted the curb and struck a sign and bench located at the front of the school.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision.
As a result of investigation, police charged 49-year-old Jay MCCULLIGH of Norfolk County, Ontario with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
