Collingwood Weekend Wrap Up

(Collingwood and The Blue Mountains, Ontario) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 135 calls for service from noon on Friday the 2nd of August to this morning at 7:00am.

Officers dealth with 9 incidents of liquor license act infractions, ranging from open liquor container in public to being intoxicated in a public place. Police also dealt with incidents of mischief. One vehicle had one of its windows smashed on the evening of the 4th of August on Kandahar Lane in The Blue Mountains.

Two vehicles were ‘keyed’ sometime overnight from Thursday to Friday, these happened on Eighth Street and Jeffrey’s Way in Collingwood. Also an incident where tires were slashed on two vehicle parked on Simcoe Street near Napier Street in Collingwood.
