(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) – The Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of OPP Acting Detective Inspector Chris Loam, Criminal Investigation Branch, are investigating a serious injury to a 3-year-old boy from the Harrowsmith area.
During the evening hours of Saturday, October 11, 2014, a medical call was received for an unconscious child. The child was transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
The investigation indicates that the child was playing at the Rotary Park Playground, located at Lemoine Point Conservation Area in the City of Kingston, in the afternoon hours between 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in or near the Rotary Park Playground or who may have seen anything during that time to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
