Shortly before midnight yesterday, police attended a residence on Cardinal Crescent in Chatham in response to a complaint of mischief.
The caller reported that at about 11:45 p.m. he watched his neighbour walk past his house and approach the front tire of his vehicle. A few moments later, the neighbour stood up and walked home carrying a cordless drill. The caller went outside to check on his vehicle and found that his tire had been damaged and was leaking air.
Glen WIERINGA, 53, of Cardinal Crescent in Chatham has been charged with mischief. He was released with a future court date.
