(NORWICH, ON.) – On Sunday, July 28, 2013, Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) were called to South Court Street in Norwich due to a break and enter that had occurred at Jean’s Coffee Barn.
Owners attended the business on request of police after a door was found insecure shortly after 10:30 p.m. It was discovered that a quantity of frozen meat and cash was taken from the business. The estimated cost of the items stolen from this business was $500.00. As a result of a thorough investigation, police have charged a female with the following:
Victoria BENOIT, 35 years of age from Norwich
Break and Enter – Contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada
Possession of Break In Instruments – Contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada
Benoit was release on a Promise to Appear and an Officer in Charge Undertaking and will appear on August 27, 2013 at the Woodstock Courthouse.
