(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – During the evening hours of April 21st, 2016 members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit, Central Region Drug Enforcement Section and Community Drug Action Team executed a search warrant on a residence on Cedar Street in the Town of Stayner.
As a result of this search warrant the following items were seized:
A quantity of Methadone
A quantity of Cannabis Marihuana
A quantity of Fentanyl Patches
A quantity of Cocaine
A quantity of what Police believe to be either MDMA or Heroin
Charged with “Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine” and 2 counts of “Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drug” are Jody S. EKMAN 44 years old and Janet E. NICHOLS 48 years old both from Clearview Township. OPP have also charged Jody S. EKMAN and Jordie MORRIS 42 years old from Owen Sound, Ontario with “Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana – under 30g”. First appearance for all three accused is June 7th, 2016 in Collingwood court.
