(AMHERSTVIEW, ON) – On March 22, 2016 at approximately 10:00PM, officers of the Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute at a residence in Amherstview, ON where forty-six (46) year-old Randall Clayton BROCKWELL, was transported to hospital with serious injury and later died.
The investigation was conducted by Napanee OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Paul Yelle, Criminal Investigation Branch, and it has been determined that the death was caused by accidental circumstances and foul play was not a factor.
As a result of the investigative findings, the criminal charge of Aggravated Assault, which was previously laid against, 19 year old, Hannah Victoria BROCKWELL, will be withdrawn Tuesday July 19, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Napanee, ON.
