(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On August 10, 2015, just before 10:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a Mazda 3 car on Highway 401 eastbound, near Bloomfield Road.
The collision occurred when the car left the roadway and came to rest in the south ditch. The two male occupants, both from Toronto, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 21-year-old driver, Mohamad SAHALI, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
