(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a break and enter at a Boswell Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 10, 2015 at approximately 1:55 p.m., police were contacted by Hydro One employees after it was discovered that unknowns gained entry into the property.
Through investigation it was determined that unknowns gained entry between Saturday August 8, 2015 and Monday, August 10, 2015 by damaging the exterior fence of the rear compound. Once inside, unknowns removed approximately five (5) bails of aluminum wire.
Four bails are described as #2 Triplex aluminum wire and the last bail is described as #1 Ought Triplex aluminum wire.
The theft is estimated at approximately $5,000 dollars.
