(SIMCOE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident at a Colborne Street North, Simcoe, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at approximately 8:12 a.m., police responded to the address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.
As a result of investigation, the Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit with the assistance of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit arrested and charged a male and female in connection with this incident.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2015, police arrested and charged 25-year-old James Ronald WILSON of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.
Break, Enter dwelling house
Firearm – use while committing offence
Pointing a firearm X2
Breach of firearms regulation
Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
Careless use of firearm
Fail to comply with probation order
On Thursday, September 10, 2015 police arrested and charged 26-year-old Kaitlyn Mary HUNTER of Brantford, Ontario with the following offences.
Break, Enter dwelling house
Firearm – use while committing offence
Pointing a firearm X2
Breach of firearms regulation
Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
Careless use of firearm
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Possession of weapon without being a holder of a licence
Fail to comply with probation order X3
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Possession of Heroin
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Cannabis Marihuana
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Crystal Methamphetamine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid
Possession of Methylenedioxyamphetamine (Ecstasy)
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
