(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment arrested and charged a 26 year old male after police were called to investigate an incident at a Turner Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Monday, June 29, 2015 at approximately 11:15 p.m., police responded to a Turner Drive address after being contacted by a concerned resident.
Through investigation it has been determined that a male became involved in a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation with another male and female inside the residence.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 26 year old Bruce Phillip ELLIS of Norfolk County, Ontario with assault X2 and assault with a weapon X2.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
