(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) -On Wednesday October 9, 2013 at approximately 9:02 pm, officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on general patrol along Highway 6, south of 2nd Line, Centre Wellington Township. They stopped a northbound 1979 Volvo and during the investigation, police discovered that the male driver had been drinking alcohol.
Brian HOUSTON age 49 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 29, 2013 to answer to the charges.
His driver’s licence was also suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle has been impounded for a period of 7 days.
